He is a Tanzanian photojournalist. He is well known for setting up Michuzi Blog in the 2000’s, one of Tanzania’s first relevant blogs.

Michuzi had an interest and passion in photography since the 1980s, which pushed him to join an evening photography course at the Goethe-Institute in Dar es Salaam.

In order to cover his tuition fees, he engaged in taking photos in most Dar es Salaam social functions including places like disco clubs. One of his photographs was selected for the front page of the Daily news, a government-owned newspaper.
